    I.Background 1.Micro-Electro-Mechanical-System (MEMS): Bulk Micromachining, Micro Sensing Technology, Packing and Testing, Micro Electro-deposition, Micro Injection Molding, Micro Optical System, Micro Actuators on Bio-chip, Surface Micromachining. 2.Clean Room Processing Experience: Micromachinery Layout Design, Photolithography, Mask aligner, Oxidation, Plasma Enhanced Chemical Vapor Deposition (PECVD), Dry/Wet Etching Technology, Reactive Ion Etching (RIE), Rapid Thermal Annealing (RTA), E-beam Deposition, Chemical Deposition, Surface Profilometer (α step). II.Research 1.Fast diagnosis: To develop a reliable technology platform for fast diagnosis of pathogens and genetic diseases by integrating innovative microfluidic technologies. 2.Immunosorbent assay: Immunological methods for detecting antibodies or antigens by using the microfluidic platform. 3.Optoelectronic biochip platform: To develop a photoconductive microfluidic platform using optical images for cells/particles, proteins or even DNA manipulation and detection.
